Mrs Cottrill Day - Wednesday
To celebrate the 28 years of dedicated service to children and Reigate Priory School, Wednesday 18 July has been designated as a very special ‘Mrs Cottrill Day’. We will be celebrating her phenomenal commitment to Reigate Priory through a day of activities and events related to her particular passions for our school and its ethos and culture.
Recognising its importance to our children’s development and her own personal enjoyment of participating in it, one aspect of the day will be related to learning and being outdoors. This will include a special celebratory picnic and a session taking part in park based challenges and games.
Consequently, all children should arrive to school on Wednesday 18 July with a packed lunch (no nuts), a bag ofclothes suitable for outdoor activity and appropriate sun protection, including water bottle, sunhat and sunscreen. Please note that there will be no hot dinners available on this day.
Other parts of the day will include a celebration of Mrs Cottrill’s love of Reigate Priory’s unique history and passion for music.
Should you or any ex-Priory parent or child wish to sign Mrs Cottrill’s ‘Reigate Priory Memories’ book or contribute to her leaving present, then please head to School Reception to record your message or offer your donation.
Wednesday 18 July promises to be a fitting finale to this amazing Priory person and I am sure you will join in with the rest of the school to say thank you and wish Mrs Cottrill all the very best for the future.
