Parking Permits

Parking Services at Reigate and Banstead Borough Council provide parking permits for parents of a number of schools around the Borough, including Reigate Priory School. These permits allow a short period of parking in the car parks close to the school at the start and end of the school day. For Priory School the permits allow parking in Bell Street and Bancroft Road car parks. The permits are issued to assist in reducing traffic congestion around the school and in recognition of the fact that parents only require a short time in the car park to drop off or pick up their children. The permit allows about half an hour of free parking at the beginning and end of the day. To ensure this scheme is administered fairly across all schools involved, the number of permits issued is a percentage of the number of children at the school. Please be aware that any parking permits issued for the previous academic year are now invalid.

Reigate and Banstead Borough Council have provided the school with a limited number of parking permits which enable the holder to use Bell Street and Bancroft Road car parks for a specified time period, term time only.

In order to ensure a fair and just distribution amongst parents, permits will be available to ‘purchase’ free of charge, on a first come first served basis, on WisePay from 10am on Tuesday 11th September.

Only one permit per family (additional permits obtained will be disallowed and invalid).  Please note that permits must be collected from the school reception by Monday 17th September and clearly displayed in your windscreen as normal parking restrictions will resume from this date.
