CHILDREN IN NEED - FLAMBOYANT FRIDAY Once again and as a nominated charity, Priory participated in this
year's Children in Need event. For a minimum donation of 50p children came to school in their own
clothes or expressed themselves with our
school theme of Bright, Sparkling and Florescent - children and teachers
really 'stood out'.

'Delivering the toys'
Six representatives of the 18 children that participated in the Christmas
Special
ONE Show, delivered all the toys that had been given to them by the
programme to some very happy children at the Christopher Centre in
Guildford.
CHASE provide care for very poorly children and support for their families
across London, Surrey and Sussex - it would be true to say that the 'right
toys are now with the right children'.
Angus, Grace, Quinn, John, Francesca and Maisie were just wonderful as they
played with the children - a credit to themselves, their families and our
school.
It was the perfect gesture by the children, that sends such a resounding
message to all in our learning, local and even national community.

What an amazing experience! Our mini-presenters
were fantastic - superb ambassadors for our school! With nearly 5.2 million
viewers they really have helped to put our school on the national map.

'Come as a Book Character Day'
Why is it the book is always better than the
film? The theme for this year's event was 'From Page to Screen', with a
focus on how children's books have been turned into films and the comparison
between books and films.
